Who is Alaysia?

Hi! My name is Alaysia G.

I like to come off very friendly but keep things professional in academic environments. My major/minor that I desire to pursue in my academic life would be a major in criminal justice and a minor in psychology. These subjects are significant to me because for one, I feel that it is particularly important for everyone to have proper representation, especially in minority communities. Secondly, with my minor, mental health is something everyone needs to take care of, especially in children. With a degree in psychology, I would aim to be a child psychologist.

Continuing in the academic light of things, some of my strong qualities that I feel like would be valued in a classroom would be that I am very mentally flexible and able to easily adapt to new environments. My chosen picture represents me because in that photograph, even though it is very plain and simple, there are so many beautiful intricacies in the morning sky. So many trivial details that come together as one to make one big, intricate picture, and I feel that is how my personality is made up.
