Who is Samaya?

My name is Samaya L. and my pen name is Rose.

The image that represents me is a digital drawing of a futuristic, cartoony cat girl that I drew to represent me and become my icon for sites. This drawing (above) represents my creative and friendly personality, and how my art has improved immensely over the years.

A meal or dish that best describes me would be a meal that my amazing culinary artist/chef of a mother makes, Salmon Pot Pie. This is a meal that has shaped me as a person, since my mother is a chef, all of her meals are always cooked to perfection, but her Salmon Pot Pie is my favorite meal. The meal is a pastry pot pie that consists of a stew that has salmon, carrots, peas, and different seafood types, like shrimp or maybe even crab meat. My mom always makes this meal especially hot and steamy as well, so it is the perfect temperature to consume and different flavors can be enhanced. This meal describes a combination of all the different types of food that I love and has shaped me into the person that I am today. In addition, this meal represents who I am. The meal consists of a combination of different food types, similar to my artistic traits such as painting, sculpting, and playing musical instruments such as the piano and the bass clarinet. The warm temperature of the meal represents my warm and friendly personality towards others. And I can always taste and feel the love that my mother put into the meal, mirroring the constant support of my family in all if my endeavors.
