About Kevin A. R.

Who is Kevin?

Hello, my name is Kevin A. R.

Before I start, here's a brief description of myself : )

I'm a rising senior attending McFatter Technical High School. I'm a part of its Medical Assisting Program and officially received my first two certifications. As a first-generation student of a family of five and of Hispanic descent, I understand the many struggles and challenges of assimilating to the American culture and the vision of hopefully achieving the American dream. Through the Knowledge for Freedom Program, I can't wait to have the opportunity to have a first-hand look and introduction to how college life works, but most importantly, be able to change the community around me for the best through my Change Project!

Now that you know a bit about me, let's continue with the biographical question I chose:

What animal/dish/book best describes you? Describe the animal/dish/book in detail. What do you feel distinguishes that animal/dish/book? How and why does this best describe you?

After profound thinking, what best describes me is my dog. Who's my dog? Great question. Her name is Lilo, and she's a Cocker Spaniel. She's a beautiful mix of Black and White and will turn eight this December. It's easy to distinguish Lilo from other dogs from the silly way she sits, and it's adorable. Now your next question might be, why did you choose your dog to describe you, Kevin? That's another excellent question. Lilo is a very family-oriented dog. Like Lilo, I love to be with family since it's a huge aspect of how my household works; unlike Lilo, I wouldn't say I like dog food.

I hope you all enjoy my biographical sketch!
